Deyin Taijiquan Boot Camp
The Chinese Arts and Culture Center, along with the Deyin Taijiquan Institute of Great Britain hosted a Deyin Boot Camp throughout the day, where participants participated in a variety of workshops, including some entitled "Visualization in Tai Chi Practice" and "A Selection of Sword Techniques." Both members and non-members of the Deyin Taijiquan Instituted were invited to attend and learn these valuable and interesting Tai Chi skills.

Chinese Martial Arts Competition
The UK Shaolin Temple hosted its 9th Annual Chinese Martial Arts Competition, which featured competitors and spectators from all over the South of England. A wide range of martial arts were on display, from San Da to traditional hands forms and weapons forms.

Self-Defense Workshop
Cambridge Kung Fu hosted a free self defense workshop for both regular students and members of the community. The purpose of the workshop was to teach the 40 participants the different self defense options that they have when confronted in a dangerous situation, and to give them the confidence necessary to protect themselves.
